Membership and Guest Policy
Women are considered members upon the submission of their application and their contribution to the pooled fund for a given grant cycle. As such, they receive email communications, have access to the Member Portal on the website and are considered members for meetings and voting purposes.
If they have made their contribution by March 1st, they are considered "lapsed" and would be required to pay a guest fee to attend any meetings. In addition, the two meeting limit would then become applicable to them. Furthermore, they would no longer have access to the Member Portal on the website. If a membership contribution is made prior to attending a meeting, the member fee if any will be charged at registration.
Each guest is limited to attending a TOTAL OF TWO events during a given grant cycle (September to May).
Guest fees applies to all guests. This fee does not cover the meeting cost in its entirety and meetings are subsidized by the administrative budget (and by extension existing membership dues).
